ACFE Mumbai Chapter provides fraud prevention education through meetings, seminars, workshops and professional networking opportunities for our members. Our vision is to create a community of fraud-fighting professionals in Western India by expanding the membership through evangelization and outreach, creating a platform for all fraud risk management professionals to share knowledge and support each other, to provide thought leadership on prevention and deterrence of fraud and to promote high standards of professional knowledge and ethics.

Membership Categories
ACFE Mumbai Chapter has several membership categories.
The Chapter’s CFE membership is open to individuals who are Certified Fraud Examiners and are working in various functions, industries with different levels of experience with interest in the prevention, detection and deterrence of fraud.
Fees – INR 1500/-
The Chapter’s CFE membership is open to individuals who are Certified Fraud.
The Chapter’s associate membership is open to individuals who are Associate members of ACFE US and are working in various functions, industries with different levels of experience with interest in the prevention, detection and deterrence of fraud.
Fees – INR 1500/-
Our endeavour is to encourage the wider fraud fighting community to get involved with the Chapter’s mission. Therefore, individuals have an opportunity to become an ‘Affiliate’ with us even though they may not be CFEs.
The Chapter has two categories to become an Affiliate:
General – This is open to working professionals with an interest in the prevention, detection and deterrence of fraud.
Fees – INR 1000/-
Student – This is open to graduate and undergraduate college and university students who have an interest in fraud prevention and detection. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least nine semester hours (or equivalent) and graduate students must be enrolled in at least six semester hours (or equivalent) in an accredited college or university.
Fees – INR 850/-
